Dear Baba
salary is related is those who do the mentel work and
wagers related to those who do the physical work and
moverover salary related to higher class post and wager
related to lower class people wdin the orgaiz
salary is the monitory benift for the managerial grade and
issued on a monthly basis(mostly). this does not indicate
the number of hours worked in specific. those employees who
are in the payroll of the company are entitled for salary.
wages are monitory and applicable for the labour workforce.
this purely is based on the number of days worked, hours of
work, quantity of workload, etc.... these employees may not
be in the payroll.....may be partime employees, contracts
etc.....

Re: Difference between Salary & Wages
Hai
Wages in short paid to workers who are involved in manufacturing activity and the expense is manufacturing expense which will be debited to Trading Account where as Salary in short paid to employees who are involved in administration of a firm/factory and it is administrative expense which will be debited to Profit & Loss Account. This is only the technical difference and practically there is no difference between wages and salaries

Dear,
The wages are given to them who work on daily basis and get paid daily irrespective to their work. Wages are generally paid as per the Minimum wage act & and as per their industry and location ( Zone 1 2 & 3). The wages are paid daily and if they work for 20 days they are eligible for 1 day earned leave. (which has to be availed or reimbnursed)
Apart form That Salary is the remumeration that is paid on monthly basis, along with allowances and perqusites. Such as BASIC & DA, Conveyance allowance, medical alowance, special allowance other allowance etc. Salary is paid monthly, and calulated for 26 days only ( with weekly off may vary month on month) Here employee enjoys, CL PL & SL as per rules. Please note that all CL PL & SL are given under Shop and Establishment Act and Vary to each and every state.
Hope this will clear your doubts.

Wages are better than salary. The Wages Will be paid for hours of work that is how many hours you have worked .But the case is different in the salary. Salary refers to how much you get paid every year. Salary earners rarely have to punch a time clock, or keep an accurate account of their hours, because they get paid for performance rather than by the hour. Salaried workers are much more likely to have paid sick days and paid vacations, and are not docked pay for being late or leaving early from time to time.
