In the implementation of benchmarking process one important step is to analyse gaps of benchmark and actual state. Are the gaps explainable and if yes, the magnitude. The benchmarking process was initiated and implemented by Xerox in India in late 80's.

Hi Kavita,
I appreciate the work. It has opened up some unexplored areas of knowledge for me.
Incidentally, I would like to have clarification on what those percentages in brackets in the slide 'types of benchmarking' indicate.
Thanks for the presentation.
