Hi all,
I am really confused with the response of HR of one company. I appeared for the interview in the company. I was told that I got selected and got offer letter after one week. On that day itself they told me my package got revised and they will send revised letter. But I didnt get it even one month has passed. Whenever I call them they say they will send it very soon. I am in dilema what to do. Can anyone help me why HR put the things on hold?
thanks

Dear Jerry, The management might have decided to put on hold the filling up of this vacancy. How can HR tell you their internal matters? HR acts according to the wishes of the management. DVD

Hi Jerry,
I agree with Dinesh that the HR may be having some internal issues, but something positive should be communicated from their end also, especially when you have been given an offer letter.
But as U really cant help urself in this situation. So pls be patient.

Dear Mr. Ravishankar, Not all HR’s are Arrogant. It completely depends on the situation. Regards Supriya

i think u should not wait for them, if you really want to switch, go and get some other opportunity. dont wait for them as a month duration has been passed and they didnt reply u yet. usually it happens, mgt put vacancy onhold and they dont give clear answer to the candidates. so freshup ur mind and try ur luck somewhere else.

Is any date of joining motioned in your offer letter and then u can ask for explanation bocz u received a offer letter

Yes I too agree sir, But HR have to get clearance from the management or it may be for fixing the CTC or in need of any referrals or for any verification.
I would like to say “When you have done your best, you can await the result in peace”.

there could be many reasons,
might have found some thing fishy in your career or profile or background check.
position might have went on hold
got better prospect than you....
tip:call/mail and ask for joining date.

Dont panic, keep this current offer option open and continue your job search. Dont live by assumptions.

Some of the companies (IT) are still playing safe and are collecting resumes and are seeing at what cost and experience candidates can join. Being a support function, preference will be least given in HR induction. Again depends on your skill set and experience.
