Hi Shila ,
I think experience letter should not be issued to emps. who resign before completion of probation period or who are in the probation period. Companies have their own rule regarding this. However the reason is behind not issuing the letter is that it can be misused as his/her name gets associated with the company and is not even six months. So company is not liable to issue since the person is still in the training period. Secondly, when a person wants to resign before completion of probation period, then the emp. has already breached the contract. One cannot ask for exp. letter if s/he has worked for one day or week, its the company to decide if s/he is withing the probation period.

Dear passionate HR,
Thanks for your valuable comments, i am totaly agreed with you but suggestion from Kapil dev Singh ji is more suitable in my case. I apologize that i had not provide all the details. The case is that Empl. has allmost going to complete probation period, before 2 day of the completin of his probation he put his paper because he has to go abroad. I was asked that why i have to give him a exp. letter, my concern is that he is almost to complete his probation and he could also put his paper after confirmation because he has one month of time to go. I gave him exp. letter.
I just want to know that I was wrong or right?
Thanks a lot two both of you especially Kapilji.
