Hi Dear,

I have good knowledge of Excel. Lekin main ek problem face kar raha huin. I have prepared Employees PF Deduction records month-wise in compile sheet A and in Sheet B, I have made a standard format of Form- 3 A with all details, and linked it with a command lookup. The lookup value is Employee PF No. When I input the employee PF No. in the selected column, all the details month-wise appear in the sheet with names, Father's Name, etc. However, in some cases, it's not showing the correct data from Sheet A. When we change the PF No. of any employees, in some cases, it's not changing the value. Please help me with other commands so I can get the correct data with this link.

For more clarification, please contact me.

Hi Vishwash,

Please freeze the table array (select the table array and press F4) while using VLOOKUP. Please note that when you use the VLOOKUP function in the same worksheet, you need to freeze the table array. For example: +VLOOKUP(lookup_value, table array, col_index_num, range_lookup). Press F4 after selecting the table array. Hope this helps you.

Good information. Thanks.

I need a slightly different clarification. We keep a lot of information as text (one cell of each row). The calculations happen from other cells, and we require it in Excel due to calculations occurring in those cells.

The sheet contains over 5000 rows. Our issue arises when editing the cell with text and needing to perform a spell check. Is there a solution?

Hi Prem,

Thank you for your reply. I have already completed all the tasks. I believe you may not have understood my point. There are instances where I do not receive the correct response when I enter the PF number. I think there is a need for a macro or a security level case; otherwise, I do not see a solution.

Hi Vishwash,

What Prem has said was correct. This does not have anything to do with an increase or decrease in your macro security. If you have any doubts, please post your sample Excel file, and we can see what you are trying to convey.
