Hi,
Iam working with a Software development company as a HR Recruiter. We use job portals to source the candidates. But the problem we face during interview is what ever the candidates mentioned in the profile is fully the dummy or false information. so our project managers instructed us to filter the candidates during the telephonic round.
what are the methods we can follow to filter the right candidates from the bulk ones?
how can i handle this technical part ?
Please guide me.

Hi
When we are screening the person on telephonic the first and major what will be done is that his communication skills that is rating between 6.5-7o8/10 ,After that start asking him about him self in that judge him how he is saying about him self,Next ask him about his previous company roles and responsibilities and current company role and responsibilities and what is the structure in his company ,Whom he will be reporting to ,Ask him about his Project Details ,Team Size. After that has been completed ask him about his current CTC ,Expected CTC and Notice Period .But there are some stuatuins where in on Phone there voice will be strong but when seeing face to face there will be not good.
The Best way is that once you speak with the candidate ask him to come down to your office and take the interview i think this method will be working you lot.
