There are only two ways you can modify or improve the customer service process:
• By doing a survey: Ask customer service-related questions that directly relate to your company's process. Analyze the responses and make necessary modifications to your process.
• Since you are trying to improve your processes, why don't you try process mapping? Map out all the processes, create a workflow chart, and critically analyze the process. Remember, when you are analyzing the process, you need to consider two factors: effectiveness and efficiency.
• Effectiveness of the process: how the process is flowing.
• Efficiency of the process: the timeframe in which the process starts and ends.
Note: A process workflow can be effective but not necessarily efficient, and you need both to run the business.
