Hi,
In my organization, we have a female trainee who has come to do a project. While she was collecting data, a male employee knocked her on the head for no reason. The girl cried out of pain. Should we report it to our manager? What should we do now? The girl never speaks to that guy anymore. He is so rude; he beats all the girls in the organization. However, that guy has 2 years of experience in the organization. Will the manager take any action? Please help.

Dear Shalini,
It seems as if you are working in a company located in a place where there is no law and order or democracy. Otherwise, why would all the females in the organization endure mistreatment from this so-called male employee of the organization? Kindly try to address realistic issues. If this issue is indeed true, then please do file a complaint with the local police station for criminal intimidation and assault.
Thank you,
Octavious

No problem with that girl officially doing the project. Make sure that guy won't engage in further illegal activities. Once you complain to the manager, the guy may get angry, which could lead to other illegal actions. Be safe from our side; if needed, you can file a case against that guy. First, take care of the girl.

Still, the person continues to be in the organization.
The HR person knows that he mistreats all girls and has made this a habit, but has not taken any action. What ineffectiveness!
The HR person is only concerned that he has 2 years of experience, which is of no use and holds no importance in this situation.
Please think.

Being an HR professional, it is your responsibility to stop him. If he doesn't listen to you, you have to take this matter to higher officials and give a warning letter. An organization cannot have a bully.

He doesn't know how to behave with females, so how is he suitable for the job? He is unfit for the job. Kindly file a complaint with your manager and request severe action against him. Whatever experience he has is of no use for your company; first discipline and dignity are essential for male employees.
