Dear frnds,
I do have a some knowledge of Balanced business score card(BBS)....at present this is implementing in our orgranisation.
the main idea behind it is........it assess the effectiveness of a person in doing his task.... and for each and every task.... some marks are fixed. Whenever the person has effectively performed the task...he will be alloted that marks.
For example : say the one of the task to be performed by an employee is "to have an increase of sales over 5% with compared to the same month of the previous year" :5 marks
Depending on the achievement of the target...the employee will be assess the marks in the scale of 5.
BBS is one of the way to measure the effectiveness of an employee in his work.
the score of BBS will help the topmanagement to assess him in giving the benefits, promotional aspects ..........
hope u get some idea of BBS.
if any queries ur free feel to contact to my mail id

BSC is a a form of performance management system also used for performance appraisals. Well, best companies practised it till now and now it has been a word of mouth.

Hi,
I've some of my BSC (Balanced Scorecard) & KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) presentation that I'd like to share too (pdf. file).
Moreover, In my experiences, The BSC is the fantastic strategic management , I think it's a very practical tool for business that would like to run the new strategy way with this BSC.
Finally, the most important thing on the BSC is about the KPIs if you conduct in the wrong way, you can't measure the business performance.
Happy to share with all members,
