Dear Friends,

I am herewith enclosing the Employee Handbook in Word format, which will be useful to most of you. Since I have prepared this for my company, wherever the company name or any other related matter appears, I have hidden it.

Very useful information source for employees. For those who are interested, there is a post at <link no longer exists - removed> which provides an index of an employee induction manual for South Australian public sector employees. Unfortunately, I could not attach the document without explicit agreement from management.

Hi Karuna Ahuja,

I'm glad to hear that the handbook was really helpful to you. We do have a similar handbook for our employees, but I found this one to be particularly extensive. It has given me a lot to think about in terms of how I can improve ours. Thank you for sharing it!

Thanks a lot!

Dear Rajan,

It is very useful. I hope that since you have been in the manufacturing industry, your company should have the Standing Orders. Your handbook looks like a Standing Order of the organization.

Sir,

I'm new to this forum. I have joined my organization as an HR. I have been asked to prepare policies for our BPO in a different city. I have been given 2-3 points; the rest I have to create myself.

Sir, please guide me on how to prepare the policies. What information is needed for such preparation? I further request you to send me a copy of the employee handbook. I was unable to download it.

My email is girlmysterious.2244@gmail.com.

Thank you and regards,

Hi all,

Most of our friends are unable to open the attachment. I am once again posting it for your information. I have made this handbook for the benefit of my organization. Even after submission of one and a half years, no one in my organization has even bothered to look into it. I am happy that this has benefited our group members.

Rajan

Mr. Rajan,

It is a very good job, and the content is excellent. Do not worry about whether your organization is appreciating you or not. Do whatever you feel is good for the organization and the society. One day, you will be rewarded even by unknown people.

Dear All,

I hope you are all fine. I am attached with a renowned group in Kolkata and working in a managerial position. Recently, an engineering college in Kolkata has been taken over by the group with the sole purpose of broadening horizons and as part of corporate social responsibility. We envision making this college into a Centre of Excellence and later turning it into an Institute of National Importance. The college is well-known and has been in existence since 2002, with the first batch graduating in 2006. It offers programs in Computer Science, IT, Electronics and Telecommunication, Biotechnology, among other streams.

During this initial period after our takeover, I would like to request all of you to allow our students to participate in your recruitment drive. We would be delighted to assist with logistics within given constraints. Please help us by sending your response to sdutta71@yahoo.co.uk.

Dear Sir/Madam……
I am a new member of this site and found it could be of help for my career. I had completed my M.Sc. and B.Ed in Home Science from Delhi University with specialization in Foods and Nutrition. I am also pursing PGDID in Instructional Designing from Symbiosis, Pune. I have worked for one year providing me an experience in the field of development of projects, proposals, budgets, development and editing of content, report writing, organization of workshops etc. Presently I am working at a reputed school in delhi but I want to change my career and wants to work in a multinational setting where either my knowledge on nutrition, education or instructional designing could be utilized.
Can any one enlighten the direction to which should I proceed….If any one is having some references regarding these then please suggest….

Yes, the staff handbook is very useful to both the employer and the employee. I hope you all would agree to this. The staff handbook would help the employer easily communicate the company policies and legal legislations to their employees and get acceptance for the same.
