Dear Harshal,
It's amazing how the management topics we study in B-Schools today were written over 1000 years ago. Unfortunately, we are not very effective in marketing this knowledge to the world. The concepts that the world considers modern management practices have actually been part of Indian practices for centuries. It is disheartening that we possess this wealth of knowledge but fail to utilize it.
Cheers,

Hi Harshal, your post on Kautilya's Arthashastra is, in essence, what is needed for the corporates today. It's amazing to note that even as early as the 3rd century BC, our country had the knowledge on topics/subjects that are currently popular worldwide. Indeed, Incredible India! Thanks for sharing.

Very interesting. Really, we have all management principles in our ancient scripts. We only know when others tell us. There is a lot of management, personality development, and success management in all our epics - Sumathi, Bhaskara, and Vemana Satakam. Recently, we have seen a post on management in Mahabharata. Now, it is time for all of us to relook into what is there, searching for what is not. Thanks for the posting.

Hi, very nice PPT. Like Kautilya's Arthashastra, our ancient books like Mahabharata, Bhagavadgita, etc., are a rich source for management and personality development techniques. The pitiable thing is that we, as Indians, are not learning from these rich sources of knowledge. When we receive the same contents through Western personality development/management books, it opens our eyes.
