Hi,
5S can mean different for different organisations and processes.We applied 5S to the Knowledge portal we have in our company.In this respect 5S meant that we maintain the matter on the portal in a systematic way,and ensure we meet the Sort-Straighten-Shine-Standardize and Sustain aspects of the 5 S standard on a regular monthly basis.

Nupurn - you are right.. the one you are referring to also called e5S. Similarly e5S also refers to systematizing your files and structuring your index on PC so that the manual dependence is reduced and retrieval becomes fast.:)

I worked in an American company earlier and there, a person wrongly addressed would become very furious.
I am not at all angry, but request those few friends to address a person properly. PLEASE.
