Hi friends,

I have recently resigned from my current job. I need to know about the laws related to full and final settlement. My specific queries are
  1. What is the maximum time that the company can take in preparing my full and final settlement?
  2. Can the company deduct any amount for 5-6 instances when i have left the office half an hour early in my total tenure of 2 years?
  3. What are the rules related to half days and short leaves.
Kindly help me out!

company should clear dues of individual within 48 hours of resignation/termination as per industrial dispute act.no deduction can be made for half an hour early going in last 2 years that should me made in same month only and now you can not make for two years.for short leave -it is internal matter of company .there is no law for the same.

Dear,
Ideally f&f should be paid off within 45 days. as far as the leaves & short leaves are concerned will go as per the comp. policy.
As Malik sir said ther is no specific rule / law prevailing pertaining to this query.

Sir,
I am working in the Payroll Dept.I just want to learn few things.Which is the Law which specifies that we should clear all the dues in 48 hours.We might clear it in maybe 48 hours( which might be a fight) but how do we reach the ex- employee who might be located 8-10 buisness days away.
Second i want to know what all clearances should we clear at the time of Full & Final.
