Hi, Appointment letter have a clause of Notice period. Both party have to serve notice period or pay amount if they want to end there contract. Suppose employee salary is Basic 4000/-, HRA-2000/-, conveyance -1000/- and other Allowances-3000/- total-10,000/-. Notice period-1 month. Emp. want to give notice pay in place of notice period. Than what amount he will pay as notice period. Is it only Basic or Basic+ hr or Total salary.
