Hi Sudha,

I know some of the topics that would be good for a project. They are Recruitment & Selection, Training & Development, Performance Appraisal, and HR Audit. Among these, I don't have any idea about HR Audit, but if you need any help or information regarding the remaining topics, I might be able to assist you to some extent. I will let you know if I come across any other good topics for the project.

Regards,
Satya

Hi, I am Nishith. My advice to you is to first find out what you love to do in your project. Whether it's a study or research, explore emerging methods of training and development. You can join an HR consultancy or a professional training institute specializing in HR. This implies a keen interest in understanding and influencing humans around you. Consider working on methods of mentoring in a company, as this topic is closely related to leadership development. Try exploring these less explored new areas in HR. Hope this will help you a bit! 😊

Hi, I'm Natasha from Secunderabad. I'm also working on a project in the HR department. The topics mentioned by others are quite common and can be found in every organization. Why not explore something different? My project is focused on employee satisfaction. I have created a questionnaire based on this topic and distributed it to all employees, setting a sample target. I will analyze the collected data to prepare charts or graphs to demonstrate the satisfaction levels. This is my perspective. If you are genuinely interested, I am willing to assist you.

You can reach me at natasha_nshm@yahoo.co.in.

Goodbye

Dear Karrisatya,

I feel that you should choose a project based on the industrial sector in which you prefer to start your career. Many companies directly offer employment to project trainees if they find them suitable, and the project experience counts when companies come for fresher recruitment on campus.

For example, if you are planning to be in the factories/manufacturing sector, you can consider the following:
1) Conflict Management
2) Absenteeism (very common)
3) Disciplinary proceedings
4) Workers Training
5) Statutory Compliance vis-a-vis Difficulties (New)

For service sectors, some project ideas could include:
1) Employee retention
2) Incentive Schemes
3) Team Building

I have previously suggested to another member to do a project on Conflict Management, and if you would like my suggestion, you can consider a project on HR Rating.

SC

Hi,

Can you please share more information on what you know about conflict management and HR rating, like the parameters you set for the study? I am planning to do my HR project in this line. Thank you.
