Hi,
I have joined in a company as a fresher and bonded for 2 years. I have completed 6 months and not utilized properly. So, I thought to switch the company, got good offer too. The bond says I have to pay 60,000/- in case of any ruptures. As a part of termination I have resigned and gave 1 month notice period. But My Manager says 2 months notice period is must. I was unaware of the notice period and checked the offer letter, the notice period mentioned as 2 months as he said. I have begged the manager like anything to relieve me on the date which I was mentioned in the resignation letter. But, he is not accepting at all for any kind of reasons. On the other end, The company which I got the offer letter says they dont want relieving letter and they say simply abscond from the current employer and they are strict about the joining date. My worry is If I abscond from the current company on the date which I have mentioned in Resignation letter as a last date, Manager from the current company can take any legal action towards me which will recede my career track in the future?
Below, I have explained the situation in detail.
1. Hired as a fresher and placed in a current employer as a contract employee
2. After an year got Permanent and bonded for 2 years with the current employer and woking on the 7th month. (That means still 1.6 years to complete as per the bond).
3. Got good offer and will be placed in a client place (That is will be working as a contract at present)
The client is plan to take on roll after the performance evaluation. So, Client will be my 4th Employer(Actually It is 2nd Company Which I am going to work) and they will accept the relieving from the 3rd employer.
In future I will be having
* 1st employer's offer letter and relieving letter
* 2nd employer's offer letter and proper payslips, bank statements for 6 months(no relieving letter)
* 3rd employer's offer letter(they do not require the 2nd employer's relieving letter)
The 3rd employer will give the releiving letter when client take me on roll.
so, In future I will have 4 companies' offer letter.
I will not have 2nd employer's relieving letter rather I will have payslips and bank statements to prove the employment for the 6 months.
All the Backround verifications are done by the offered employer.
I have almost decided to abscond from the current employer.
Now, Please tell me will I face any problem in future and also guide me how to tackle the situation.
Thanks in Advance!

hi shakeel,
i dnt think that u will face any prob bcz its just 6 month job.but i am worried about your 3rd comapny, where u will join.accepting u without releving letter says that they are not much professional in nature.bcz in 2days all gud/big companies dnt accept anybody without rel letter.
it may be good 4 u but think the reverse ......is it healthy 4 u.in future they may kick u without NP or without relvng letter & then it wd be a bad record in ur career.
as a technical recruiter in 2.5 yrs of exp this is my guess.i cant u give any exact suggestion bcz i dnt know ur 3rd comapnay very well.so wish u good luck.

Its right leaving without relieving letter is not a good practice and may be in future your current company may also not give you experience letter or may start demanding exp. letter from previous one.so be careful.

The company wanting to employ you are unethical. How will they treat you in the future? Do you really want to work for a bunch of shysters? serve your notice and find a reputable company.

Hi Guys!
Thanks very much for every one of your opinion.
Now, Let me clearly explain wat are the steps I have taken after spoke with the manager. I have escalated a mail to the reporting person for the manager and CC to the Senior HR. Even though none of them responded my mail. After a day I have sent a mail directly to Senior HR and CC to Assistant Senior HR. I have 6 days left for the last date as mentioned in the Resignation Letter. I am going to approach the HR directly in the next few days. I want to relieve from the company in a professional manner only. That is wat for I am trying also.. :-(
I have mentioned in the escalated mail as below:
I am ready to pay the amount in lieu of the notice period and watever the amount mentioned in the bond. So, Please relieve me.
So, Now Please tell me, if above said actions are not going well means, Can I make a complaint towards the Manager/Company/HR???
If Yes, How can I make it??
Its Really Urgent!
Please, Guide me in this regard guys!
