Hi, kindly let me know whether form 3A is required for pf claim since pf is filed online as my employer says that it is not required. Awaiting your reply.

although PF has gone online and we are updating the PF accounts every month but may PF officials ask for Form 3a. So its better u attache it before you submitt pf withdrawal form,

Dear sir,
I have submitted PF from and rejected due to following reason
1. Father name not mention in from 3a
2. date of leaveing mention 14/03/2012 insted of 13/03/2012
my query is that after correction of Date of leaving their is any effects in No. of days period of Non-contributing service in any ?? so how much day sholud me come.
kindly request you help for this.

Dear premlathav.
Form 3A is not mandatory if your employer is filing monthly returns within the due dates. If there is any delay in PF payments by your employer it better to submit along with Form 3A.

Even though Form 3A is not mandatory its better to enclose the copies of all Form 3A. even I had bitter experience with PF department by receiving less amount compared to the amount that I had to receive. Finally after submitting all Form 3A I received the balance amount. They simply told as company didn't provide the required documents & putting blame with the company but it was issue of PF department
