First prepare a data of all employees in your Org.
Print a greeting cards with your company name...
The day before birthday of any employee..all employees should sign on that card along with directors, hand it over to him on the birthday..
You can plan a small snack party on end of the day with in your department....
Give small company gifts......

Prepare Monthly Wise Birthday List of your employees. From HR Dept send E-cards to the concern and mark CC to all staff.
You can present a bouquet to the concern.
You can make the person to plant saplings on that day.

You can give a packet of sweet & a birthday card to each employee on their birthday.
For that you have to 1st prepare a database of all the permanent employee as well as the total appox. cost required in a year. Accordingly as per your budget you can make the policy.

My company has a birthday celebration each month for all employees that had a birthday during that month. The company will purchase a cake and we sing Happy Birthday.
As many people take off on their Birthday, in that case you can even think of celebrating birthdays monthly, in honor of whoever had a birthday during that given month.

In my opinion what you do is personally call to the employee and wish him/her birthday on behalf of entire organisation and at the same time inform to one of Top Management Senior based on the availability and also ask him to wish the particular employee. If you succeed in covincing your Top Management Senior to wish the employees on their birthday, then there would not be any gift greater than the employees receive wishes from Top Management Seniors.

It is the one of the best policy of retaining the efficient employeeee.s
In order to facilitate with data base, prepare it in xl sheet, with today() command and ever with alert.
If using other mail id like yahoo, ibibo. you may also set auto greeting; which will be posted automatically, even if an employee resigns a job.!
What else // the other easy way..
U can to the WONDER updating the CORRECT BIRTH DATE.
If that could be wedding date.. Oops..!! (jus kidding..!) take it sportively..!!

In my organisation.. The President Director personally goes to the birthday boy/girl with HRD department.He will take a rose with him & in front of his department people he vil ask the birthday boy/girl to sing a song or tell a joke...We have centralised music system... so for two mintues we also keep the music on....

In our company we celebrate the birthday by cutting a cake. Generally we at HR sends the list of members and their birthday dates to the baker, who will deliver it on the said date. We print a birthday letter, where all members in HR will sign and send the same with the cake to the department of the employee whose birthday is celbrated. Cake is cut by the birthday employee and all others will sing the birthday song. Suppose if the birthday falls on a holiday we celebrate the birthday the day before.
