Dear Andhri,

Hope this will find you in good spirits!!

Please accept my greetings for your coming child. May god bless you with a healthy child and may all your sorrows and worries get shed away from you. First of all I would like to know what does your husband do if he is menting handsome money every month then I suggest you to take care of yourself properly and do not worry to acquaint a job after a year or even above of that. If your husband doesnt make enough money and if you have financial problems then also no need of worry because in our profession we also have an option wherein we can work from home i.e., we can do online recruitment's (there are few firms which obliges this work) but again I suggest you not to opt this because you have to be much concern about your health.

It's not difficult to get a job the only thing is that we have to be concern about the role of work which we have to play. Keep yourself upto date by reading articles about Human Resources and as well as a randezvous on every weekend with the colleagues will do wonders. After you are done with the delivery. You have a genuine reason to let the world know, why you took a break! Endeavour with all the confidence with all the energy levels, I am pretty sure that no one can stop you to get a good job.

Thats for sure...

Warm Regards,

Hi Andhri,
Congrats to you....! Regarding your worries about your career break,I can perfectly relate to it because I had been in this situation 4 yrs back.I had taken a break of 2 yrs for my baby, but I was lucky enough to get a very good break as soon as i was ready to come back.
I would suggest you utilize the time efficiently,u can build your skill set by learning something related to your field..you can enrol for any course( distance learning).
I actually took my PG diploma in HR from Symbiosos in distance learning when I had taken the break .
Also check for work from home options..there are many opportunities available...That would help you to keep yourself engaged and aware of industry happenings etc..
Also read up a lot thru internet or books etc...
And above all, take care of your health!!!
Good luck to you!!!!

If your husband is earning well, then why are you worried about your career, concentrate on your baby now. Dont go after money and career, your family should be important to you, and as a mom you care for your child till the number of years your mom cared for you. Else after two years you will send your child to some creche, babysitter and if you sit whole day in office, what will be use???? . Rest is upto you. Life is not about earning money and working in a job.
