my salary break up for a new offer is as follows:
Basic -
Annual-15600
Monthly 1300
Ad-Hoc pay -
Annual-250224
monthly-20852
PF(Annual) - 31899
HRA(Annual) - 159494
conveyance(Annual) - 9600
Child Education Allowance(Annual) - 2400
Supplementary Allowance(Annual) - 91000
Gross Pay per month - 44,000
my question is that why my basic salary is so low?is there any reason for that?also what is ad-hoc pay?how much is it taxable?and also what will be my in-hand salary per month??

The calculation of salary seems to be little confusing. please clarify the adhoc payment being paid now. whether this will be added later to your Basic? then it is OK. rest, the calculation of PF is made 12% of Basic+adhoc. Normally company need to pay basic as 40 - 50% of gross salary. You get it clarified from their HR dept.

because i n maharashtra state govt and labour deptt has declared a particular amount of basic and DA
normally 60 to 70 % of gross is always Basic plus DA and balance in various allowances.
