The authorised signatory signs on behalf of the company that authorised him. Once he resigns, the authority extinguishes and the person is no more authorised. As regards the signature done previously, the authorised person has not signed in his personal capacity but it is by virtue of being the person authorised. So his personal involvement and risk is to be seen thus unless such a person has misused the authority given to him or has gone beyond the authority given.

The risk of the attorney will continue even after resignation from work as he will be held liable for the acts he has done till date. Regards. Taxblock.India.Pvt.Ltd.
