Try to contact the HR managers of the local companies within your industrial area. You will get more accurate figures from there.
In case your organisation has a Bell Curve appraisal and increment method, than you can use current Inflation rate as the standard increment, whereas the employees on better performance scale can be given higher increments based on their performance and the total bucket that the company has to offer in increment amounts.

Dear Girish ji, The Minimum increment percentage is 10%. If you are in HR Profession you may issue performance Appraisal and based on that arrive % based on increments. Regards. PBS KUMAR

Dear Girish,
Minimum is 10% n maximum is 12% in our unit.
in some cases you can increase your %.
and you can give increment on CTC or on basic
if u are giving increment on CTC u have to adjust all contents like HRA, Covey., LTA & Medical.
ur company might have some guidelines regarding all above contents you can refer that guidelines else you have to set such guidelines.

Dear Girish,
Our Company has a policy of adjusting increment % on the basis of Grades marked by concern HOD to the employee.
these grades starts from A to E, where A is superior & E is on inferior side.
Employee with A grade will get 15% rise ((inflation 7.5% (assumed) + 7.5% extra -best performance)).
where as E grade will get 7.5% rise ((inflation 7.5% (assumed) + 0% extra)).

Greetings,
The increment depends on the company budget. It is aligned to the market only to make it competitive. This will remain specific to the values of the company. Few firms may believe in disbursing a higher take home, whereas other may focus on long term benefits through deferred compensation plans such as superannuation, ESOP and its.
