On one hand we have promising career for women. They are becoming pilot, doctor, army officers, ceo, coo , business consultants et al. On other hand there is and issue of safety and harassment at workplace. Harassment and undue advantage by Boss or Senior Personnel .

When she travels for work . Stalkers and Molesters are there on the roads and inside public transport . Darkness is not her friend.

On personal front, they have to take care of children and elders at home.

Taking care of kid and elder is a big task. It requires lot of patience . Sometimes she has to do sacrifice for her job to become responsible mother, daughter or daughter in law.

With so many demands at workplace and at home. Its challenging for women to sail two boats.

She can do all such tasks with the help of her husband or family.

Yes, we have social stigma too woman has to marry and produce kids and raise them.

She can not live on her own terms. If she chooses her own lifestyle society will not accept her or she becomes odd man out.

They always try to disturb her or pass comments at her. She can not live single. Its hard for her to live alone. Unlike Man.

When she thinks of entrepreneurship. Many people do not take her seriously.

She did not get payment from vendors , people try to cheat her. Few people understand her aspirations.

She has to create space for herself. Her path is challenging.

Dear Ms Gauri Tomar,

I do not know why you have written this post, what was the logic behind this post. The entire post is without any numbers. Therefore, I do not think that your arguments are based on study or survey of the society. The post is suitable for some magazine that espouses feminism. The way you have written your post, one can infer that we live in dark ages wherein women are inferior entities. Your post is for which country? Is it for India? Yes, India has these problems. But then with 1.25 billion as the population, you will have a wide spectrum of society wherein each shade is so big that you will find diversity within the shade itself.

As a woman there are hardships nevertheless, harassment happens from either side. Do you know how many men commit suicide because of the false implication under Section 498-K? That is one of the most dreaded section of CrPC of India. Matrimonial laws are heavily tilted in favour of women. Go to family court and find out how women have taken undue advantage of this tilt.

Your article could have become balanced provided you had written about the opposite side also.

Last but not the list, instead of cursing the current state of affairs, you could have written what have you done to change the situation even by a ounce. Your article would have acquired credibility even if you had not mentioned the opposite side.

Thanks,

Dinesh Divekar

In some ways, it's simply not reasonable that there are a considerable measure of additional obstacles you need to clear to be fruitful, yet in the event that you're sincere and genuine about doing some incredible work in this world, at that point you will discover accomplishment in your profession objectives.
