as jaipal said u can followthe same.
and increament should be given as per benchmarking with other companies of same designation, performance, self learning, with current project objects and future project worth and importance. even u can provied 100% also hike. that is the proposal by u to the management regarding employee and data given by HOD's

Hi, Well if you see the trend of the Last year it goes as follows Minimum = 12% Average = 15% Maximum = 20% (+2% ~ 5% additional for top performers) Hope it will suffice the objective....

No this figures are barring IT sector for IT Sector it was slightly higher and as follows :
Min - 14~16%
Avg - 18%-22%
Max - 27-32% (+2-4% for top performers)
The variation is due to the Company Size, Performance, as well as ranking of the company i.e. Like Infosys, Wipro, Sapient, Microsoft it would be slightly higher followed by HCL, NIIT a little less and then slightly unknown companies and so on......

All its depend upon company's profitability....
Normal rate 10 % to 30%,
But for doing appraisal of any employee... need to check his profile, work, imporatant in organization....
