Hi,
There is an institute named Zupiter Technolologies in Chennai, which is offering a course in SAP HR and with placements.
Texas Technologies is also a good institute in Chennai which offers thiese kind of courses.
You can find out if there is an institute called SIEMENS INFO SYSTEMS LIMITED(SISL) in Chennai which is again offering a specialised course in SAP HR.
Hope this information will be of help.

HI Seema,
Unstitutes offering SAP course in Mumbai are:
- Genovate systems
- I think Reliance is alo offering a course in SAP
- Sapient college
- Narsi Monji(Management Institute) is also offering a course in SAP
Certification examinations are directly administered and controlled by SAP through Stringent online certification exams.
I would like to add a word of caution: There are many institutes in all Metros which are unauthorised. These centres lure people by SAP training and offering placements. Trainings from these unauthorised institutes is illegal. Thay can be a little cheaper than the authorised institutes.
The other question Seema,
Generally there are only two or three authorised signatory in the Organisation. On confirmation any of these related to HR can sign.
I think HR Head in your company should also be an authorised signatory, so he/she can sign confirmation letter.
Cheers

Tips while selecting a SAP Training Institute
If you want to join a private institute ask them:
1) Whether they send you for SAP certification test (Very Important)
2) Ask for statistics - How many received training till date, how many got jobs in India, how many got jobs abroad, average waiting period before getting a job, which companies, what is the average period guys are on bench (for people who got jobs abroad), average salary in India & abroad. How many have got jobs in functional consultancy and how many in ABAP/4 ? Be careful, you may end up getting a job in ABAP/4 programming (If it is okay for you, no problem)
3) If they have a parent company, how many projects they executed till date?
4) Do they have any tie-ups with SAP consultancy companies in India (IBM, Coopers & Lybrand, Siemens, Ernst&Young etc..). It is easy to get a job/project, if they have tieups.
5) Whether they employ you ? Mostly they say, it would be based on your performance. If so, check their track record (Percentage of people they employed ?)
