hi,
i have joined an IT company newly and got to design the salary structure of php developers: frehers, senior developers and team lead. Their current salaries are:upto 8000/mnth, 8000-15000/mnth and for TL salary is no bar. so how should i design their salaries and be adding further increments to it after an appraisal period of 6 months, so that i could retain as well motivate them.

Hi Sonia,
You may fix only 1 salary fitment for all level or may fix according to their salary slab.
Ex. 8000 Gross PM
Basic : 40% of gross
HRA : 30% of Gross
Conveyance : 20 % of Gross
Special allowance : 10 % of Gross
you may do it and make formulated sheet.
About their Increments you may fix the percentage on their KRA.
Eg.
Work Quality : 35 %
Productivity : 30 %
Dedication, attitude,time in-out etc.

i want to know that gratuity should include in ctc or note or it should be mention in pay slip ?

Hi Jatin,
As per my Understanding.
the gratuity or bonus should not be mentioned in payslip because you may not predict what would be the basic or profit wage at the time of his/her retirement or reliving date or in next financial year.
