The payment of Bonus Amendment act,2010 is applicable for financial year 2011-12.
ie; Should the caluculation based on 11% of basic instead of 8.33%. Please help.
Also please let me know from when is it applicable ?.

Dear Satish,
Can you provide the scanned copy of the said Act? I am already having the scan copy of the proposed bill which as per my knowledge has not yet been passed in Parliament and hence not been enacted as an Act. But I may not be updated on this,so pls help me out at the earliest.

Mr. Satish is not corret. Only Amendment Bill was introduced. It is not ecacted yet. Hence as on date the present status only will continue till amendment takes place.

Dear Satish,
I am working in Steel Melting Unit at Patiala.At present we are functioning in day shift.As loooking the production,we need to start 2nd shift(Night Shift).My query is can we start night shift in our company without the any permission of Labour Department or is there any law to take permission from Labour Department for starting Night shift.If any need of permission ,then tell me procedure of getting permission from Labour Department.

Bonus Act Amendment bill 2010 has been tabled in LOKSABHA.
However, this has not yet been passed in both the Houses.
Bonus Act status-co remains as it is. i.e. OLD RATES PREVAIL.
