We as a trainer always delivering one or another modules as medical representative who keep promoting and selling one brand of medicine or like a LIC agent selling one policy or plan.

I am not talking about any profession, all are excellent and good. I am talking about the approach.

As a trainer we are at very primitive stage, we always talk about delivering one or two training programme whether that is the need or not.

We have developed one or two modules and think , we have become the trainer. We try to sell our given programme , whether it is required or not .

The need to the hour is to give solution.

When I say solution, it is about improvement. Based on organization or people need , design and develop the module / training programme and give solution. Understand the customer requirement and give the solution rather just selling the one or two training programme.

Myself worked as HR professional and change agent for 18 years and last 7 years working as trainer, coach and consultant. Working on employee development through training and development since 1994 , mainly in the manufacturing sector.

We work for improving performance of the organization as well as people. we undertake consultancy as well as training projects.

Based on various challenges faced by our clients in Manufacturing , Service , Educational and Social Sector , we understand the need of our client and support them in meeting those challenges. We work for enhancing the performance.

We need to talk about solution rather than one or two programmes.

Thanks SK for sharing your experience. With reference to your post, my guess you / your company already focuses on the solution by understanding the need of your clients.
I am sure that like you there are other trainers / training organizations who offer breakthroughs through various training interventions.
So where is the problem?

Dear Shkti,
thanks for your post.
there is no problem at all. I am talking about the approach. As a trainer what is required to understand and talk about the need of the client rather stating I / we are a soft skill trainer of so on....
we as a trainer need to change the approach and understanding. it is more to build up the competence and approach.
when we say we are trainer for this topic or that topic, let us build up the image that we provide solution based on need.
this requires competence. we as a trainer need to build up the same.
this is the need of the hour. I personally interact with many trainers - junior and senior both.
you would appreciate my suggestion
certainly I would also talk how ....
regards,
SK
