Hi All, I was working with A company from May 2013 to July 2015, then joined B company on the same month and working there presently.
Now I would like to transfer my PF from A company to B company provided both the companies have proper digital signatures in EPFO website. But the issue is, my previous company has been closed 6 months back.
Since both the employers having proper digital signatures there is no issue in submitting online transfer through EPFO portal, but though if I choose the attestation through my present employer, it seems like EPFO will contact previous employer for some verifications.
I'm not sure what to do on this issue now, it would be great if anyone could guide me on this.

You don't have to worry about the transfer. Apply online transfer through your current employer. Of course, yes, the procedure is they will ask the confirmation from previous employer. But, it is the duty of the EPFO and Previous Employer to process your online application.
If you find it is delayed due to non availability of previous employer after few days (may be one month), raise a grievance compliant in the EPFO Portal and they will take care.
FYI, this is what, I have done to one of my current employee and it worked...

Hi Murugan,
Thank you for your help. Here my question is, will there by any kind of verifications / documents have to be provided by the previous employer post attestation from present employer?
I believe there are some kind of confirmations has to be provided by the previous employer to complete the PF transfer.
Please help me on this to understand the complete process flow post attestation from present employer. Since my previous company has been closed, I'm not sure about the process.
Will there be any kind of intervention available with previous employer??
It would be great if you could guide me on this.
Regards,
Venkatesan

$$$$$Step-By-Step Guide for Online Transfer of PF Funds
Here is a step-by-step guide to how you can log into the EPFO portal and facilitate the transfer of your PF funds from one employer to another.
If you have already been assigned a Universal Account Number, you can transfer funds easily. Ask your employer for UAN, if you haven’t got it.
Go to the EPFO website at http://members.epfoservices.in/home.php and create your UAN based login ID.
This will take you to a page where you have to enter your UAN, mobile number and details of current employer like state, establishment number and account number.
Then you need to check if account is eligible for a transfer on the EPFO site. You need to fill in the state where the employer was located and search by name or establishment number from a dropdown menu.
After you have filled in the details, click on Check Eligibility.
The site will then let you know if your account is eligible, or not. If it is, then you can register on the EPFO website.
You have to submit a valid photo ID such PAN card, Aadhaar or driving licence. The website will also send a PIN to your mobile which you have to verify.
Submitting the PIN successfully will give you a confirmation message. Continue further.
This will take you to the EPFO Member Claims Portal, To log in you have to provide the document ID and phone number. After signing in, you can see all options.
Go to the top tabs and click on Request for transfer of account.
You can now access and fill in PF transfer form. It has three broad parts:
First, you have to enter personal information in the first part. Other than your name and email you have to enter IFSC code of the bank and your salary account number.
In second part, fill in details of your old PF account
In part three, fill in details of current PF account.
The claim can be attested by your previous or current employer. It takes some time for their end to do it.
After the form is correctly filled in, you can click preview to see if the information is correct. Or else modify.
After ensuring all the information is correct, enter the captcha and get PIN. Also click “I Agree”.
After entering the PIN, the claim transfer is initiated.
You can also check the status of your funds transfer through the portal. In case of any hitches you may enquire at the previous/ current employer end or write to EPFO directly.
This is how easy, the funds transfer of PF has become through the online portal.

Clarify me regarding EPS -
1. I have transferred my PF from Old Org. 1 (PF Trust and RPFO, Bandra) to New Org. 2 (PF Trust and RPFO Ahmedabad). When I have received Old Org. 1 letter, I got to know that only my PF amount got transferred and Amt under EPS were retained/to be transfer from RPFO (Bandra, Mumbai).
2. Now, I have changed my Job from Org. 2 to New Org. 3 which has new RPFO (at Vashi, Navi Mumbai). I have applied for online PF transfer (mid October) as both Org. (2 & 3) having digital signature and still under process after 1.5months. As Org. 2 has PF trust, It might be possible EPS amt kept at regional PF office, Ahmedabad due to trust involvement.
How can I transfer EPS amt from Old Org. 1 (RPFO Bandra) to New Org. 3 (Vashi, Navi Mumbai).
Will it be the same condition as point 1 or EPS amt along with PF amt will be transferred from Org 2 to Org. 3 RPFO.
Or if is not transfer to Org. 3 RPFO, then How would I process for the same..!!
Thanks/Regards.
