PF Account Transfer Issue
Regarding the previous PF account transfer, I have worked at an IT firm since 2013 and received a new opportunity at another manufacturing company with a joining date of July 2, 2018. I submitted my resignation letter on June 19. The actual notice period is two months, but despite negotiating with my Project Manager and HR, no one agreed to an early release. Consequently, I discontinued my job and joined the new organization.
Current Employment Status
My present employer informed me that there was no need to submit the service letter, stating, "We are hiring you as a fresher for this position." This is not an issue for me. However, my previous employer updated my EPF account Date of Exit (DOE) as July 31, 2018, while I had already joined the new organization on July 2, 2018. When I attempted to submit the PF transfer request online, an error box appeared stating that the previous information did not match. I would appreciate any suggestions for resolving this issue.
