Hi All,
I appreciate your efforts to design the KPIs (Key performance Indicators) for trextile industry, but you guys need to specify that for which lelvel of employment you really need it.
whether it is for manaqers you need to stipulate for whom as to whether it is for Production Manager, or Finance Manager or Marketing Manager or for Stores Manager or for Purchase Manager.
In the working class level of workes there are workers woring on waving or dying section or quality control Department or at the laundry level. When it is clearly specified then it is possible to design the KPI's
Thanks & Regards

Dear Mr Raghunath BV,
In your both the posts, one of last year's as well as what you gave recently there appears to be some misconception about KPIs.
Recently I had clarified the definition of KPIs. Please click the following link:

Your first post: - You say that "KPIs are universal and do not differ from one industry to another". However, let me say that KPIs are universal but these are industry specific and one industry has nothing to do with another industry. Marketing of hospitality has got some different goals than from say retail industry. How can you draw parallels in them?
Your Second Post: - You say that "whether it is for managers you need to stipulate for whom as to whether it is for Production Manager, or Finance Manager or Marketing Manager or for Stores Manager or for Purchase Manager."
Let me clarify that KPIs are for department and not for position. KRAs are position specific and not KPIs. KPIs are as simple as blank progress card of a school/college student. When you fill the progress card, this shows the student's attainment. When parents tell the child to attain 'X' marks, indirectly they set the KRAs for their child.
Ok...
