Marriage leaves are Company specific.
In the Marriage Leave policy you may define the following :
How many days leaves maximum can be sanctioned for Marriage of employees.
( In normal course 15 days leave are being granted)
Whether it will be a special leave or leave to be adjusted from earned leave.
Employee to submit Marriage Invitation as proof of Marriage.
Marriage Gift from employer side if any.

As far as I know there is NO special category called "Marriage leave" like Maternity Leave, Sick leave etc. Atleast in govt. and/or quasi govt. establishments there is no such leave either for giving credit or debiting the leave a/c. Atbest the concerned are eligible to utilise their own EL/PL/CL for this purpose. There is a possibility some pvt.sector offices may have such a policy, though there is no compulsions.
