Hi Guys,
Here is the policy in my firm,

Work-Hours and Attendance Policy
8. Employees attending office after two hours from their office timings or leaving office
before two and half hours will be considered as having taken a 1⁄2 (half) day leave. """
Now in this scenario if i come late and complete my half day and leave earlier, Please let me know if that would be considered as Half day as well as Late Mark OR Just Half day,
What you guys thinks about it..
Note :: If the above leave is approved.
Because considering both late and Half day would be like if you come office by half day so HR will consider your Half day as well as late,
That simply doesn't make sense.
Awaiting for your response guys on this, My Hr Said me even after approving the leave that you will get the half day leave deduction as well as you will be considered as late for the day as well.
Any help would be highly appreciate,
