A cure to most of the performance related problems and cost effective way of preventing disasters is COUNSELING, which is a HR function. Every Employee or Manager is involved in Transactions. Transactional Analysis (a useful conceptual framework to describe an individual’s style) aided with Counseling, if performed effectively by the HR Manager leads to enhancement in performance of their employees.
Transactional Styles Inventory-Counselling has been designed to help Counselors become aware of their styles in performing Counseling Function, with those who work with them. Here Counseling is used at periodical meetings that establish mutuality and help people to recognize their strengths and deficiencies, and plan enhancement of their effectiveness.
