The government of India is about to announce The Code on Wages which will subsumes The Equal Remuneration Act, 1976, The Minimum Wages Act 1948, The Payment of Bonus Act, 1965 and The Payment of Wages Act 1936 various compliances including factory license, CLRA license & S & E Act registration are online available in the state of Maharashtra....... If you try for registration or Payment of Maharashtra Labour Welfare Fund on state government's website......it not active...... so it still demands you to visit their respective office @ Prabhadevi (Parel) .... Is not a sorry state?
Employer's Associations as well trade unions have preferred to keep mum on this at we all professional should raise our voice on this subject. Also state government has to inform all employers what kind of welfare activities this Board do for betterment of employees and how many of employees have taken benefit of these schemes?
