I have recently come across few candidates who fixed up an interview with the end client.Then they did not turn up for the interview.Then onwards they refuse to take up calls.They do not have a courtesy to
apologize or respond on their behaviour.If this has happened with any of you members then you would understand my situation...........
Is there a place where I can give a honest feedback on such candidates so that no HR consultant or HR person would suffer from their behaviour.
What is the way out from this behaviour?

Your scenario is very common in recrutiment....We need to prepared to face different kind of candidates.....There are many instances where candidates accept offer letters but no reply on the joining date confirmation....But this is a very common scenario.......All that we can do is that we should find an alternative for the candidate or rather have Back-up for the candidate.....
If you face a situation where offer accepted and not joined would sound more unprofessional and also very annoying....So get urself convinced that you have not met the worst person yet :) and go ahead ...There's nothing to worry about these candidates ...Ignore such candidates and the you can blacklist them in your database so that you don't process their profile in future to any other client.

Probably such candidates are not seriously inclined towards their interview...
You can make a check list of such candidates in ur database .... n stop/reduce informing them about opportunities/interviews....

Thanks for the insight.Its really nice to know that people do care in HR industry.My message was directed at maintaning a common list of such
candidates with Consultants and HR people across the country.
This list should contain the candidates name and current company.It should contain a brief comment on candidates un-ethical behaviour.
It should also contain 2 contacts.End client comments and consultants comments.This list should not be very critically looked at.But we can always pass a message to our candidates that there is a place where they might be listed if they think that they can behave the way they want without any ethics and integrity.

But what u r suggesting is practically difficult. like nidhi suggested, u could black list their names from ur database. but, informing a forum about the same does not sound wise. moreover, a candidate who might not turn up for interview at ur organization might be found good in my org and may also subsequently join us.

Making a database of all such type of candidates will be huge task. But i am sure that it will help all HR people.

It happens all the time in the Recruitment Industry. I think in Singapore they have a system wherein if a scheduled candidates does not turn up for the interview, their names are blacklisted and shared with other corporates. So, this process instills a sense of fear in the candidates mind and more often than no candidates do take up the interview as scheduled. I Know India is not Singapore but we need a evolve a strartegic system in order to curb these practices if not completely eliminate it.
