Please enlighten us as to the enhancement of payment of maximum amount of gratuity from Rs 10 Lacs to Rs. 20 Lacs as per the latest amendment and the scheduled date from which it is to be effective for all practical purposes. It would be helpful if the appropriate statutory amendment as to the latest enhancement proposal is being mentioned for our reference.
