I wanted to start Coffee with employee concept at our unit. - employee interaction with the HR – concept is same like coffee with KARAN (TV Show).
Can anyone help me in working this out?

Its a nice initiative, but I would like to understand what is the motive behind the same, is it just normal employee interaction with HR or you have some other ideas.... Plz share more about that...
I also started this concept in one of the company i worked with, The title of the project was Coffee with HR...during rendezvous we also worked on Employee's confidence in HR, their counseling, problem solving and just getting information which they were not able to share with anyone.....and while doing so the confidentiality should be maintained by HR people...or else the whole purpose of the project will go waste...

As said by Archana its a nice initiative. I just want to share my experience. Our's is a Product development company with 25employees. In our company this sort of interaction is been followed as a HR practise once in a month. I have implemented this concept just before 4months and believe me its doing wonders. The same can be performed in a much structured manner but since i have no prior experience on the same i could do only so far. But now i feel that the suggestions from all senior members is going to help me alot. Thanks for starting this thread.
Title : One to One with HR.
Concept : Its a process to identify the employee needs, requests, suggestion, job satisfaction, training needs, unsolved issues, work environment feel, official conflicts / difficulties, Counselling , others etc.. At the end we collect the feedback of the session with every employee.
HR should maintain outmost conidentiality while dealing with delicate issues. We try our level best to solve as many issues as we can for those which seek immediate action. All suggestions from employee will be considered but those which are really good gets implemented immediately and rest gets implements accordingly. There has been lot many changes in the Work environment after these sessions. At the end employee satisfaction is all that matters but again every company has some limits to it, so HR has to act accordingly.
After the session, a consolidated report gets generated, named MOM (Minutes of Meeting) where in which i record all the employee queries/suggestions. The same gets circulated to the top management and whatever can be resolved gets resolved within a week's time based on priority, the entry of the same including the date and time will be done. This is how i conduct the session in our company.
Awaiting to see many responses in this thread. Would be great if someone could suggest me more ideas to improvise the process in a much structured manner.

Please accept my appreciations for initiating this thread. Hope you are not going to organise some TV Show or some Game Show.
This you have to make good understanding and interactions between the employees and HR. It is as like Mentor concept. It is a very good initiative which will increase the productivity of the workforce and even employee.
As said by Ms. Archana this will lead to win employee's Confidence towards HR Department, which Motivates all the employees by Counselling and Problem solving activities.
As said by Mr. Babu, it will create a good friendly environment in working and increase the value of HR Department too.

For example instead of making it a coffee session why don’t you do it as an in house empowering or motivation session where one HR staff give a presentation on any HR Subject, motivation, performance appraisal, creative thinking anything over some coffee & biscuits for each department each week and once the session is over let the comments pure in not only on the subject also on hr concerns and problems. Until you finish the whole organization. This way you have a whole week to concentrate on one department issues and concerns and deal with the immediate one and the one take time keep aside until you finish the whole organisaiton. You just might get some issues and concerns that take time are common this way it allows you to write a report to the management on “organization satisfaction” level through that approach.

its a nice initiative but start with a caution while coffee session discuss about his suggestions, needs, work profile, new ideas techniqes, problems etc., try to resolve problems of person whom you are interacting, and not to get feedback about others. It might vanish the faith of each other and can create problems.
