Dear Seniors,
Kindly advise as i am trying to get my pf account transferred from my last organisation since last two years thru our pf-esi consultant.
Does pf office take so much of time to get the pf transferred. My case is a typical case of delhi number being transferred to gurgaon number. And the same has been deposited at pf office in september 2011.
Please advise what to be done...is it still advisable to withdraw pf money or have more patience till the pf transfer is complete!!!
Please help!!

Sashmita

Hi Sashmita
There are chances delay from PF department. It is better if you approach the department and check the status. If still it gets delay then you might not get Interest on PF. One more thing is it is better to transfer funds than withdrawing. :)

Dear Sashmita,
First of all you need to check with your consultant that where s/he has deposited that Form 13, in Gurgaon Office or Delhi Office, thereafter you need to check your form 13 status with concerned RPFC and collect the required information from RPFC. You can also check PF transfer status online..
One more thing, you need to transfer your pf accumulation instead of withdraw, because in PF transfer, RPFC will considered your previous service tenure for pension benefit period of 10 years.

Thank you so much for your response.
To add on to same if the same has been deposited in gurgaon pf office on sept 2011 and my last leaving date was 15 July, 2010. Shall I be getting interest on my old pf amount.
And as per online status, it does show transferred. However I havent received any communication/document regarding this.
Please advise.

Hi Sashmita,
You will get interest till 36months from your date of leaving after that your account has been treated as inoperative account..
If it shows transferred then you need to collect Annexure K for your reference and necessary action from RPFC Delhi.

Hi
If it is showing as transferred over online then it would have be done. You will not get any communication regarding that. Do you think as they are working so sincerely & is it pvt organisation to update the status as and when there is any chances. Never expect those updates from PF department.
Thanks for the changes in all the govt departments for getting things online. Shortly we will get all the updates on our mobiles as and when there are any changes & contributions too.

sushmita, you can put r.t.i. to know your p.f. status. in fact, form 13 takes almost 30 days for interstate transfer and for within state transfer, takes 15days. this is as per i got info from my cousin who is p.f. -enforcement officer.

Thank you seniors!!
For all your valuable inputs and information!! I would either visit PF office or try to get it thru our consultant.
Kindly also advise on the the transferred amount of pf, does pf pays interest on all the amount in the account or only to the amount contributed for current employer.
And if some one continues the pension account and withdraw pf amount..does this make pf member eligible for pension after retirement...
Please advise!!!
