Hi All, I want to ask about the payment releasing terms for the Joining Bonus as most IT companies are giving Joining Bonus to attract talent. So that they can join us immediately. In return what company takes effort so that "prospective" employees will not leave the company.

The only way you can retain people is to take care of the reasons why they will want to leave (or why they wanted to join in the first place). Like you pay good salaries, provide challenging projects, good working environment.
So that also means your incentives must match industry standards and that salary increments should be adequate to match what they will get elsewhere.
At best, you can have a clause requiring payback of the joining bonus till a certain period, say if he works less than a year
