In case of sick leave -
case 1- Saturday present , sunday weekly off, monday absent - then only one day absent
case 2 - Saturday absent, sunday weekly off, monday present - then 2 days saturday and sunday absent
case 3 - Saturday absent, sunday weekly off, monday absent - then 3 days absent.
In case of casual leave-
case 1 - saturday present, sunday weekly off, monday absent - then 1 day absent
case 2- Saturday absent, sunday weekly off, monday present - then 1 day absent
case 3- Saturday absent, sunday weekly off, monday absent - then 2 days (saturday and sunday absent)
In case of PL- Actual working days exclusive of weekly off, holiday are counted as PL.
If any one absent before and after an holiday - then paid holiday is not given.
Seniors please correct if anything wrong
Thanks and Regards.

Hi Kamal
Please make it clear that whether he was not coming on Sunday then you are paying him or not ? If yes then why not if he had worked on Sunday and taken off on Monday then he is eligible for Sunday's salary.

Dear Kamalsolkar, It is not permissible as per law but many organizations are doing this practice only to control absenteeism. Regards, Pankaj Chandan

Dear Kamalsolkar,
Its depend upon your Company's HR Policy. In my company for above case sunday is not payable if an employee absent on Sat & Mon. But if he is on leave on Sat & Mon then sunday should be counted as a leave

Yes, It is payable. Any WO between two leaves will not be considered. In this case it is not as such, so it is payable.
