Hello,
I am working in one well known software company in pune as a admin executive .
As my one of colleague left the job without any intimation and handover ,so that i am handling so many responsibilities .
now my manager pressurized me in my work also
manager wants all work in the up to date situation
please guide me in the same ?

Hello Smita,
Looks like you are cribbing about the work-load--pl correct me if I am wrong. That will also answer Siba Sankar Mishra's query.
If what I mentioned is right, suggest take it as an opportunity to establish your work & position by doing what's given to you. Not many people get such an opportunity--so grab it & move ahead.
And in case you still feel the workload is very high, better first do what's given to you AND ONLY THEN convey your feedback to the concerned official--else it can be misconstrued that you are cribbing to avoid work--and the consequence could well be the Company may look for someone else to handle the work, leading to your position getting weakened.

please guide me in the following situation.
I joined one MNC software company before 2 Months .
but,
from last Fifteen days their are so many changes in my profile.
one of my colleague left the job without any prior notice and handover .and their are so many pending issues
due to that pending issues i suffer a lot
so , now a day's i am handling so many responsibilities
I am not worried about the responsibilities ,but my manager pressurized me in the responsibilities .
so how to handle the this situation with effective manner.

Instead of cribbing, analyse, set priorities, as TS said you have an opportunity to set yourself apart, you got to take it in a proper spirit and shoulder responsibilities to become part of core group of the company. If you want to make your mark in this co or make repoutation for yourself which will preceed u to next co, you have to be an insider, someone that can be relied upon, dependable to handle pressure, your workload cannot be more than shree p. chidambaram so be happy, use queuing tecnique, list out and set time limits in consultation with your boss. I hope you have one boss only. All the best..

I couldn't have put out the solution better than what psatya said.

PRIORITIZE--in CAPITALS.

In case you are unable to decide the priorities, I suggest this way--it definitely works, with the side-effect being it conveys to your boss that you DO INDEED have a serious intention of handling all the additional work being given to you.

First make out the list of priorities yourself, based on your current understanding of them--remember you could be wrong too. Then take the list to your boss & ask his/her advice and OK for the priorities you have set. If he/she wants to change them, remember to ask 'why'. In general, try to focus on the reasons 'why' something is being done--or not done. That's the learning process.

It may be convenient & easy to just ask what to do & plainly follow what's said. That may solve the issue at hand or get the job-at-hand done fast--but it doesn't help you grow as a professional, since it cuts-out the learning process.

1. First Write in your books things to do.

5. Still if you feel work load is very high finally request your boss to provide one assistant or SME.

I totally agree with TS. Please schedule your work based on priorities. I am attaching one format here which will help you to priorities your task. And as TS said please practice on asking "WHY" for more clarification if you are not satisfied with the answers and be confident to say "NO" assertively to others even it is your manager.
Please be confident and be positive. Please take its an opportunity to prove yourself.
