Dear All,
I am working as an HR professional with a manufacturing/fabrication unit with 200 employees working. Since the probability of accident occurence is high in manufacturing sectors, i need to calculate accident rate so as to reduce the rate with respect to saftey aspects.
Can some one guide me with the formulae of "How to calculate rate of accident in man hours?"
Kindly provide your suggestions.
Thanks

Dear Mr. Dilip,
I have some questions to ask regarding the formulae given by you ; No of man hours worked have to be calculated per week or month ot year ? No of man days lost have to be calculated for single employee met with an accident or for all the emlployees met with an accident in a particular time span?
Formulae shows 10 to the power of 6 so is it the standard power ?
Kindly give your feedback to satisfy my queries.
Thanks
