There are various things you need to consider ,in case you are heading any profit center , few of them are as follows......
1) Quality improvement
2) Cont search for new vendors in order to reduce cost by reduce cost of RM/PM
3) Govt Compliances rqd to be done from time to time
4)Other day today cost cutting Initiative
5) Always keep a eye on indirect costing such as logistics ,rentals,electricity etc
