I want to know how to register PF and ESI for Proprietary firm. Firm was started in the year of 1997. still they dont ahve an EPF and ESI. Whats the procedure to start the PF and ESI. Pleas tell me the process.

Sir, for coverage under ESI Act, 1948 there must be employment of 10 or more persons in a unit. In order to obtain code number under said Act one can try through online procedure or can contact the Social Security Officer of ESIC of the area in which the unit is situated. You can also go through the literature on ESI as available on the website of said department.
