Dear All,

I am mid management professional working in a MNC as manager, and representing a dept.

I have made resign from my old organization in Dec-20 and my notice period was 3 month, after resignation on 30th Dec-20 they hold my Dec salary and not paid Jan salary also.

also they not acknowledge my resignation and not given any acceptance till 70 days, after that they confirm for acceptance.

and still not release my wages, i requested many times and contacted through mail, verbal but they r just shouting on me and nothing happening so i decided to raise my concern in GROUP corporate, after mail communication they release my salary but in pieces.

i was suffered more because in that period my wife having baby expected and my emi's also huge so i have taken personnel loan to run my family, and i communicated same but they not bothered and shouted and warn because i am outsider (working in Maharashtra and from Uttar Pradesh).

Finally after many complaint and follow-ups (contacted labor offices) they finally cleared my all dues, i was cleared all formalities, i.e. no dues, handover everything, and came out.

After 2 to 3 month i requested my relieving letter first they denied and after many requisition they given but mention- below the professional and not acceptable, not done duties properly in notice period and inventory related issue.

i accepted that also, because my new organization not demanded for letter and mostly all the things i was communicated him.

Now after 6 month, he send one letter to my organization that this guy is below the professional and everything which he mentioned in relieving letter but not mentioned that who is writing this letter.

i am really in tense what to do, i have proof for everything, that i have not done any fraud, i have mails and recordings of meeting how he harassed me during notice period but really i am in tense and thinking to make a case against defame and spoiling my career.

is there any facility available, and pls guide me, is i can get any support from group members.

regards

Such anonymous letters are common place in corporate world, in most of the cases done with some purpose to hurt the career prospects of the person complained of. In most of the cases they are thrown in the dustbin, but if what is complained is also borne out in the new organisation, then it can lead to adverse inferences. Knowing this trend the advisable course of action keep it a secret where you are going to join next.
As to the problem in hand, if your comment is sought give a detailed and convincing reply, otherwise you may informally hint the actual state of the matter to your boss.
