Sunday as leave deduction for continuous absence from Thursday to Monday?

Hi.. I'm facing a problem where person has taken half day leave on Thursday on Friday it was a declared holiday Saturday he had a paid leave then Sunday off and on Monday also he didn't come.. my question is Sunday should i deduct from salary or not ..thank you

Normally, most of the companies will consider sunday as leave in this situation. As, employee was on leave on saturday and monday, therefore, sunday will also be counted in leave. Regards, Manish
