Hi,
Well for this question you can always let them know about employee welfare activities that you must have done within organization, free medical health checkups, goody bags to motivate employees, educational awarness programs on savings, diabities n aids etc, taking care of basic hygine, employee greviances, making employee & employer relationship better by showing them vision about their personal growth and development, etc.
Hope above given things helps you to answer the question.

I feel that we should also include the career development part also because now some of the talented and intilligent workers are aspiring to take higher responsibilities. Now a days most of the workers' children are in to engineering and other professional courses and they want to see thier parents in higher postions ( other than worker), this is what I personally experienced and to that extent we changed the designations of workers to Technical / Production / Lab associates.
Some of the core unionized workers sacrifised their status and accepted the offers of Jr.officer - Prodn, Maintenance as part of their career growth and social status.
Considering the above facts we should concentrate on the career development of the workers.
