Hi Kalpita,

I agree with senior member Mr. V. Ragunathan.

I would give one input regarding sales Training, though I am a (Mechanical Engineering related) Technical Trainer. What we folks some times do is, we emphasize more on "skill", or how to do in "on the field" or "on the ground"t , and design the Training and give Outline for Training.. In this obsession, we shouldn't miss the other aspects of Learning for sales force, Knowledge and skill.

Training/Learning in corporate context should deal with all the three.... K (nowledge, or much maligned "theory behind"), A(ttitude), and S(kill).

Don't kill the Training for sales force, with too much skill Training, ignoring K and A

I am sure, someone working in soft skill, may be able to throw more light on this.

{I learned this in the HARDEST POSSIBLE POSSIBLE WAY, after committing the error or blunder.When I started, there was no provision like Cite Hr(or I was not aware :-)) and unlike you, I was too reluctant to ask others in my early days. }
