Hello All,
I am an aspiring HR professional seeking help from you all!!!
I joined a company on December 2015 and working till date;
Was previously working for 2.10 years, had an UAN number from this company.
Now, due to human error, 2 UAN numbers got generated!!
First of all, this shouldn't be possible, since I have only 1 mobile number. Also, I haven't activated it, and I dont want to.
All my PF earnings from 2nd (present) company is going here. Please advise what should I do?! I just want to use my old UAN. and not the one generated.

merger of both UAN is possible, but your old account would get credited to new a/c ,if interested then your can activate new UAN and proceed with One Employee One PF
Hi Sahil..
In your 2nd(present) company, I think they(employer) did not asked you to fill Form No.11 to link your New PF account to your UAN (old). And they created new UAN (for statutory requirements) for your new PF account of the present company.
Ask your employer (of 2nd or present company) to link the New PF account to old UAN (by filling Form No.11 or Declaration).

When I leave previous company, submitted online transfer claim FORM (form-13) and got a mail confirmation about that Transfer Claim has been approved by previous employer.
I have joined the new company and I have deposited Form-11(declaration form) & informed my new employer about my existing UAN number/past EPF account details .New employer has opened new EPF account /Member ID but did not links this to my exiting previous UAN ,which results in duplicate UAN numbers being allotted.
I have some quires on this situation:-
1) Which UAN i will use?
2) Is it break in pensionable service length?
Please suggest.

Dear Seniors,
Greeting to all !
As per the process we have tried merging the UAN numbers but while doing this the old UAN gives me an error hits the present employer has not contributed.Even i am unable to transfer claim from previous account to the current account.
